International technical expert - seconded to the United Nations Environment Program and its Mediterranean Action Plan (UNEP/MAP)
Elisabeth Chouraki is an international technical expert seconded to the United Nations Environmental Program and its Action Plan for the Mediterranean (UNEP/MAP). Trained in Environmental Law and Policy, she was running the project Post 2020 Biodiversity Framework – EU support aiming to prepare and facilitate the adoption of the Kunming-Montreal global biodiversity framework between 2018 and 2022. Among other responsibilities, she then coordinated the mobilization campaign of local and subnational governments implemented by ICLEI Cities Biodiversity Center.
